It is also close to St. Ives, Carbis Bay, Sennen Cove (where dolphins and Basking Sharks are spotted), St. Michaels Mount, Helston, Hayle and all local Cornish treasures and within 8 minutes drive to the golden beach of Praa Sands. It is within easy driving distance to the famous Eden project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan.
The cottage retains many original features including a beautiful garden overlooking rolling countryside views.

Cornwall is a fantastic place to holiday because there are SO many things to do, come rain or shine. With Cornwall being less than 80 miles from end to end, all attractions are reachable for a day out.
Cornwall is an exciting and vibrant region with lots of activities and things always happening and if you staying at any one of our cottages, you have the perfect base from which to take advantage of a wide variety of wonderful attractions.
Imagine stunning seascapes, quiet sandy coves and picturesque fishing villages set against the magnificent backdrop of granite cliffs. Inland, lush river valleys and rolling countryside give way to wild heathland where magnificent granite tors create an impressive landscape amongst the heather and gorse.
Cornwall is renowned for it's beaches and with over 140 beaches to choose from, you are sure to find one you like! You would need to take a very long holiday (or move to Cornwall!) to visit them all so in our Beaches and Watersports section, we tried to provide comprehensive information about the major beaches and in particular those that are suitable for all the family.
Whilst the beaches in Cornwall we have listed are accessible, not all are suitable for anyone who is disabled or has a pushchair with small children, so we have considered accessibility as a very important feature. In our beach guide, we have concentrated on providing information about beaches that all the family can enjoy which basically means that it is easy to park, there are toilets, there are facilities such as a shop or cafe and they are accessible by a disabled person or with a pushchair.
In 2005, The South West of England was able to boast 26 of the 65 Blue Flag Beaches throughout England. If you are not familiar with the Blue Flag standard, visit the Blue Flag or Seaside Awards website. Blue Flag is an internationally recognised standard whereby a beach is judged on 28 separate criteria. In 2005, there were 35 participating countries and 2472 beaches achieved the coveted standard throughout the world.
Cornwall is proud to have achieved Blue Flag standard on six of it's beaches.
Take the opportunity to visit the renowned Eden Project near St. Austell, The Lost Gardens of Heligan or immerse yourself in the mystery of Tintagel Castle where the legend of King Arthur began.
